Instructions

Ideal for flowerbeds, vegetable patches, potted plants, composts, laying turf, rain gardens, houseplants and just about any planting medium. Do not use with acid loving plants.

For flowerbeds and vegetable patches:

Mix approximately 250g of Takesumi per square meter or until desired area turns a rich dark colour. Mix to a depth of 10-15cm or to root depth when planting larger plants.

For potted plants, houseplants and compost:

Mix 1 part Takesumi in 7 parts potting soil or compost.

For laying turf:

As part of your site preparation, apply Takesumi to topsoil as with flowerbeds (see above). Then rake, level and compress prior to laying turf.

Each box will cover 10m2 of typical flowerbed and will remain working the soil for several years. Takesumi can be applied all year round. Re-applying will increase the benefits but do not exceed 40% of total soil content.

Takesumi Bamboo Biochar is a safe and stable material. However, gardeners should take care when using all products. Do not eat Takesumi Bamboo Biochar. Do not inhale Takesumi Bamboo Biochar. Do not use biochar for fuel. Always wash your hands after using Takesumi and gardening in general.
